Although we’re mainly a running site, here at WomenRunningTogether we can also serve as an information source for women’s health issues. We support various races that raise money for breast cancer research and breast cancer survivors. Recently we got word about an organization that provides free house cleaning service for women going through breast cancer chemotherapy, so we wanted to pass along this information.

The organization Cleaning for a Reason provides the free housecleaning in connection with cleaning services across the country. Patients have enough problems and pressures to focus on, so the group tries to help them out with once a month cleaning for four months while she’s in treatment. All she’s got to do is sign up and have her doctor fax a note confirming the treatment.
