When my friend Andrea Turman found out about WomenRunningTogether she was excited. She loved how WRT supported and promoted women and wanted to do the same. So Andrea, a marketing specialist at the University of Reno, emailed her media contacts. Andrea’s not a runner but said after visiting WRT she even considered taking up running. I spy a crack in the door. I’ll have to keep working on this!

Yesterday the Reno Gazette-Journal featured WomenRunningTogether. Larry’s been teasing me about the full length photo. It took up most of the page! Sending off a copy to mum and dad today, they’ll love it.

It was fun to chat to Maggie about my running, my life in the USA, the website and the women I’ve met through WomenRunningTogether.
